April Community Service Event

yKAN Visits Fathers Heart Soup Kitchen

Just a reminder that yKAN's visit to Father's Heart Soup Kitchen will be NEXT Saturday!

Come join us this Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM, where we will be serving meals to the needy in a caring, loving environment.

Directions:

By Train - Take either A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, 9, F, N, R, 4, 5, 6 Trains to 14th Street, transfer to L Train Brooklyn Bound, get off at First Avenue (last stop before entering Brooklyn). Exit station proceed walking southbound to 11th Street and then eastbound towards Avenue B.

By Bus - Take either 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 11, 15, 20, 101, 102, 103 to 14th Street, transfer to #14 bus towards Avenue B. Exit bus, proceed walking southbound to 11th Street.

By Car - FROM UPPER MANHATTAN: From George Washington Bridge proceed southbound to Harlem River Drive to FDR Drive to Houston Street Exit. Make a right. Houston Street to Avenue B. Make a right. Avenue B to 11th Street. Make a left. The Father's Heart Ministry Center is on right.

From Lower Manhattan - Take FDR Drive northbound to Houston Street Exit. Make a left. Houston Street to Avenue B. Make a right. Avenue B to 11th Street. Make a left. The Father's Heart Ministry Center is on right.

East 47th Street & 2nd Ave - NYC.
Time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
What: This is an annual event hosted by CAPA (Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans).
It brings together many of the pan-Asian community organizations throughout NYC.
